Boogie Wipes Giveaway and Review - Snot Your Average Wipe ends 8/13 at 12:01 am

What are Boogie Wipes?
They are saline wipes that are a safe, gentle and effective way to wipe a stuffy little nose.  Boogie Wipes for kids come in four different booger cleaning varieties: grape, menthol, fresh and unscented.  There are also different package sizes available for your convenience.  And wouldn't you know, there are even Boogie Wipes for more mature noses called Saline Soothers which come in menthol, lavender and unscented. Boogie wipes and Saline Soothers can help to dissolve even the most dried on nighttime boogers and they will not leave your nose raw and sore.

Boogie Wipes was co-founded in 2007 by two moms, Julie Pickens and Mindee Doney.  Often referred to as The Boogie Moms, friends Mindee Doney and Julie Pickens developed the first ever saline nose wipe.
You should definitely check out the exciting  Boogie Wipes website called Save The Sleeve where there are interesting Boogie facts, fun things for the kids to participate in like booger jokes, a section for teachers and this is where you can take the Boogie Wipes Pledge to get the kids their very own badge!  You can join the Boogie Bunch and grab yourself a nice coupon here-->>Boogie Bunch & Coupon.
In the online Boogie store they sell a teacher pack, a cute plush toy and an amazing diaper cake that any mother to be would be thrilled to receive!
Have a child that does something extraordinary?
This summer, the Boogie Team is looking for 3 Extraordinary Kids to be featured on their Fresh, Grape and Unscented canisters during the 2012 cough and cold season.  They will begin taking Extraordinary Kid contest submissions, beginning August 1, 2011.  For more information, please visit: http://www.boogiewipes.com or SaveTheSleeve.com.

Our take on Boogie Wipes:
Original Fresh- this scent was nice and clean in my opinion, the kids commented that they smelled a little like bugspray lol.
Magic Menthol- will be wonderful when we need to wipe a stuffed up nose because I could tell right away they made me breathe easier.
Simply Unscented- was perfectly unscented and as with all the scented they contain vitamin E and aloe to help moisturize the nose.
Great Grape- The kids' favorite is by far the grape, they just love it "because it makes it fun to blow your nose and smell like grapes afterwards".

The softness of the cloth is perfect, it is not too thick but not too thin and you don't feel that scratchiness that a normal facial tissue or baby wipe can give you.  I also tested these out on our son K, he is 11 months old and wriggles away anytime I need to wipe any feature of his face.  First of all I could tell that he knew these were different, he smelled the grape and wanted to check it out.  I was amazed, he gave me permission to wipe his little button nose and without me having to wrestle with him in my arms!  I wiped, he smiled and then went back to playing without screaming or crying in fact he was smiling even more because he was booger free.  The wipes are nice and large for wiping. Boogie Wipes rock my socks off!

Investment?
One 30 ct pack sells for around $3.99 and are often seen on sale plus there is that lovely coupon.

  3. Grape! Sounds lovely! Would be perfect in my house with both kids sick and sniffly. It's not easy chasing a 2yr old to clean her runny nose! :)
