Mama Nibbles: Baby Gourmet 100% Organic Baby Food Pouches Review & #Giveaway Ends 11/15 @ 12:01 am EST

Baby Gourmet 100% Organic Baby Food Pouches Review & #Giveaway Ends 11/15 @ 12:01 am EST

Started by Jen, a mother who was just trying to make a healthier, tastier baby food for her own children.  Jen enlisted the help of her own sister Jill and together they created the best tasting organic baby food on the market.  Baby Gourmet is not just a meal, it's a moment.  Food your little one will love to eat that is absolutely delicious.  As a busy mom I love the convenience of Baby Gourmet's pouches but even more so I love the fact that I don't have to compromise on nutrition.  You can find these in a variety of original, homemade tasting flavors that your baby will love.
All Baby Gourmet foods are 100% organic and contain no sugar, no salt or fillers. They are also packaged in soft BPA free packages that have a re-sealable cap. The cap has the added bonus of being recyclable and they pass the U.S. and Canadian toy safety regulations related to choking hazards.  The pouch part is not recycleable yet but could be in the future.  The best part about the pouch is that its design allows the product to be flash cooked, allowing all of those good nutrients and flavors to stay put.  Jen and Jill even go a step further.  They taste every batch themselves and if it does not taste right they will pour it out and start again from scratch.  They are committed 100% to making only the very best baby food.
I sure do wish this had been around when my daughter was little, she is almost 8 years old now and I remember feeding her out of little plastic containers because they were all the rage in latest baby food packaging.  I never thought about what was actually IN that baby food or that the pureed produce could have contained pesticides not to mention the chemicals from the plastic containers because back then they were not bpa free.  Organic and specialty baby foods have only recently just began to flood the market and how wonderful it is.  There has been some amazing progress in premium baby foods, it has been slow but that just makes it all the more exciting!
My youngest son K is now 14 months old and he just loves Baby Gourmet pouches for his snacks and as part of his meals.  The pouch is simple for his chubby little hands to squeeze and after having a few pouches he got the hang of it and can now just hold it himself while he drinks the puree in.  When I am preparing dinner for the family and he starts to whine a little because he is hungry, I can just sit him in his high chair and hand over a pouch.  Baby stays happy and I get to finish cooking.  My baby K loved all the flavors we tried, every single one.  I taste tested them all as well and while I thought the vanilla, berry risotto was a bit sweet I had to agree that they were very delicious and fresh tasting.  I now keep several pouches in the car because we never know when we might be out too long and need a little snack for baby K.

Baby Gourmet foods are divided into three stages; 6 months +, 7 months + and 8 months +.

Some of the delicious flavors available are:
Vanilla, Banana, Berry Risotto
Juicy Pear and Garden Greens
Harvest Pear Pumpkin and Banana
Old-Fashioned Apple Crisp

Baby Gourmet Foods can be purchased online through http://www.babygourmet.com/ or at a Walmart near you.  I highly recommend following their blog, it is fun to read and there are some delicious recipes on there that you might love to try! http://www.babygourmet.com/blog

Mama and baby K give these yummy pouches 5 out of 5 hearts!
