     Copy-Kids is a DVD series designed to get very young children excited about eating fruits and vegetables.   Whether you are a new parent or seasoned parent we all play the great "how to get those veggies into my child" game at one point or another.  
     Kids, especially younger ones, will eat based on what they see others eating around them. That's why it's important to control what you eat as a family in your home.  Children need to consume at least 5 servings of produce every day.  The best way for you to encourage healthy eating is to eat well yourself.  Online culinary classes can teach you how to cook nutritious and tasty foods you and your children will love. Kids will follow the lead of the adults they see every day.  By eating fruits and vegetables and not overindulging in the less nutritious stuff, you'll be sending the right message.  If you are having trouble getting your child(ren) to eat their fruits and vegetables then this video is definitely for you.  Even if you are not having issues this video is so fun to watch, it is funny and interesting for little ones to see other children just acting naturally while munching on vegetables and fruit.

Apples, Avocado, Banana, Bell Pepper, Blueberries, Broccoli, Carrots, Cucumber, Orange, Raspberries, Strawberries, and Tomato.  Each chapters features several adorable and entertaining children aged 9 months to 4 years, eating fresh fruits and veggies with joy and delight. It’s a simple but revolutionary tool for parents who want their kids to develop a life-long habit of healthy eating.  The DVD includes an on-camera discussion about healthy eating with renowned pediatrician Dr. Jay Gordon, plus a section of delightful outtakes.
      Our family is using this video along with our strategy of giving the kids some control or at least letting them feel like they have control over what they eat.  The way we do this is by limiting the items they have available to them.  Keeping a bowl of freshly cut produce in the refrigerator at all times allows them the freedom to have a snack that is good for them but on their own terms.  We have found that they are enjoying items like salads during dinner more thanks to these methods.  We really enjoyed the fact that the DVD was HD, it is really a high quality production.
     Copy-Kids is recommended for children ages six months to five years.  Run time is 115 minutes but like I said before it is divided into 12 different chapters.  Copy-Kids debut video is fun and compelling for both children and parents.  Subsequent Copy-Kids products will cover other desirable behaviors like Tooth Brushing, Exercising, Tying Shoes, Letter and Number recognition... plus more healthy eating… all taught by kids. I hope they consider doing another fruits and veggies series with some of the more unusual produce such as ugli fruit or eggplant, it would be fun!
