Mama Nibbles: New Rubbermaid Hidden Recycling Bin Review and #Giveaway Ends 4/15

New Rubbermaid Hidden Recycling Bin Review and #Giveaway Ends 4/15

I am constantly leaving washed out cans and milk jugs next to my sink, right on the counter where I get to look at them every day and seeing that clutter can make me feel  a little stressed.  I love the idea of the Rubbermaid Recycler.  All I had to do was take it out of the package, read the directions, hook it over my cabinet (you can also screw it in) and that was it.  My bin was ready to use in 5 minutes.  Now I can fill it up and nobody has to know about it!  I really like that it is hidden because it takes the stressful clutter away and makes my kitchen feel more organized.  I can fit several milk jugs inside it if I crush them and a handful of cans, it really holds a lot.  The inside of the soft fabric bin is lined and really fits into my cabinet very well.  The bag is machine washable and sometimes I just give it a quick rinse with hot soapy water.  This is a perfect helper especially for those with single stream recycling.  I am very tempted to buy a few more of these to hook inside my children's closets to use as hampers...I wonder if Rubbermaid will make one specifically for that use.
Here are some of the attributes of the new Hidden Recycler:

  • easy attachment to a cabinet door with the hooks provided (or with screws
  • a convenient handle allows the bag to be easily transported to where ever your recycling is stored for pickup or transport
  • a five gallon bag that holds up to 36 12oz cans and can fit a gallon milk jug
  • the bag has a leak proof liner that is machine washable, making it easy to clean after unexpected spills
  • the bag is soft sided, allowing for flexibility inside the cabinet
  • the bag, all packaging is made from recyclable material and the product itself is recyclable

The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler Bin is very affordable with a suggested retail price of only $15.99.   You can order this product online or in a Meijer store near you.
