     Snapatoonies, the latest educational DVD series by dynamic mum duo, Le Brighton and Jordi Brighton, has your baby and toddler learning everything and anything from bird species, eating fruit, counting from zero to ten and, of course, a good smattering of the fundamentals - alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors.  Each episode features the ever clever kids on the Snapatoonies train, as they discover new things with special guest hosts.

Our thoughts (reviewed with my 2 year old toddler) on the newest Snapatoonies DVD Abby Apple and her Fruit Friends.

Reasons we love this:
-the DVD is interactive
-Abby Apple makes fruit fun
-teaches children about different types of common fruits and where they come from
-speaks to children at a level they can easily understand
-the use of photos and images helps children concentrate (unlike fast moving cartoons on tv)
-very engaging and keeps a young child's attention
-encourages and uplifts your child with lots of praise


Cons:
-the narration voices were slightly annoying to me but I got past it once I saw how much my little guy was enjoying himself.
