Fall Fashion Wardrobe Update #CookiesKids #CBias

My daughter is 8 years old and just recently she has become involved in the shopping for her own clothing.  She has her own style and taste and I wanted her to be able to choose the outfits for herself rather than me forcing something on her she didn't like.  We needed to update her fall wardrobe with a few new pieces.  I ran through my mind to figure out what fall fashion items she could use.
My dd already has some great shoes and boots to work with so we needed no shoes.  She is set for jeans and tops too.  A dress was on both of our minds as we shopped online with Cookie's Kids who by-the-way are celebrating their 40th year of business right now.  We had no trouble finding several warm looking sweater dresses that would be perfect for fall and even winter.  We saw the dress below and knew it was the perfect one.  I noticed a little orange square that said "alva KIDS" on it next to the sizing.  I clicked that and a small page popped up asking for my daughter's date of birth, her height and weight.  After that I was told the exact size that was recommended for her.  The Alva system was so nice to have!  I was able to find the perfect size with Alva Kids.

Once we found our beautiful purple sweater dress I knew we would need some leggings.  Tights never make it for more than one wear with my daughter.  She loves to run around and play like the tomboy that she is.  I say tomboy but she is also 50% girly girl.  The leggings we chose were ruched at the bottom with a few blinged out buttons, super cute.  See the little orange square up there in the leggings pic?  That is the Alva Kids sizing icon.
I'm not into brand name at all so we didn't look for any specific brands.  I like to go by price most of the time and then I will read reviews when I shop for my kids clothes.  I liked that Cookie's Kids did have a review section so I could leave or read a review.  Cookie's Kids prices were so low!  I did not think we would be able to afford more than one item but no, we got five shipped to our home for just under $30.  Cookie's Kids is very budget friendly and can fit any kids style.
Lastly we wanted a headband for our outfit because my daughter loves to wear hair accessories.  I found some adorable big bow white headbands for only 99 cents.  I do believe that this particular headband is made for school uniforms.  I can't even make a headband for that price and white will go with everything.  I clicked and put two into my cart.  After seeing them in person I wish I'd grabbed a few more as gifts!  I will definitely be going back to Cookies Kids for some holiday gift shopping.
Follow my shopping trip and see what other purchases we made at Cookie's Kids in my G+ Album.  Some important news: Cookies Kids is implementing a new program, a credit refund policy.  Example: If you buy something one day for $9.99 and the next day it gets discounted to $8.99 Cookie’s Kids will add the $1 difference into your CK account for future use.  #CookiesKids have 7 stores in the NYC area in Bronx, Brooklyn and Jamaica as well as online at CookiesKids.com.  If you would like to sign up with my referral link and receive $10 off of your first $50 purchase then you may <click here>.
