Campbell's is a name that almost anybody knows. As a kid I remember eating warm bowls of chicken noodle soup. My mom would get out the big bag of oyster crackers for my two sisters and I. We would take a little handful and watch them bob up and down in our soup bowls. My favorite Campbell's soup was the alphabet kind. I absolutely loved trying to spell a word out on my spoon only to eat it up.
Now as a married mom of three beautiful children, I understand the importance of an easy meal. I still serve my own children the very same soup that I enjoyed as a child. I bring out the same type of oyster crackers and let them do the exact same thing I did. I love being able to share something from my childhood.
Campbell's now has an easy to use skillet sauce that comes in six exciting flavors. We tried the Marsala, Toasted Sesame, Creamy Chipotle, and Thai Green Curry. You can use these straight out of the package! Just add chicken or whatever food you prefer and ta-da. Also available are Fire Roasted Tomato and Scampi.
3 easy steps. Ready in just 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in skillet over medium/high heat.
- Add your protein or vegetables & cook until browned.
- Stir in sauce and heat to boil. Reduce heat and cover
for 5 minutes or until protein is cooked through
and/or vegetables are tender.*See packaging for more detailed preparation instructions* (source: www.campbellskitchen.com/)
My husband and I were long overdue for some adult food. We are tired of hotdogs, macaroni and leftover chicken nuggets. The only problem is that we have both been too tired to actually cook anything besides the kids meals. Tonight I prepared a skillet of chicken, green beans, Campbell's SKILLET Marsala and colorful vegetable pasta. We thought that it tasted just like homemade. The Marsala wine has a particular sweetness that we really enjoyed. This was perfectly balanced by the addition of mushrooms and garlic. The savory sauce had thick slices of mushrooms inside of it. My husband had that look in his eye. He was satisfied and happy.
Skillet Sauces are available at grocery stores nationwide alongside boxed dinner kits, marinades, sauces, gravy or broth. If you’re unable to find the sauces in your local grocery story, please ask the store manager or contact Campbell’s Consumer Response Center at 855.374.6588.
