A sports joke my kids tell me often. You will find the answer at the bottom of my post!
Q: Why did the football coach go to the bank?
Football and basketball are big in our household, especially cheering for our home team here in Michigan. When we watch the big game good food is a must but I don't want to miss out by having to spend lots of time in the kitchen. Thankfully I've got lots of tricks up my sleeve!
My favorite Walmart store carries our favorite game time snacks. Whatever last minute snack I need, Walmart is always well stocked and I can grab everything in one trip. I make sure to grab a variety of snacks and keep my freezer well stocked. Stocking up is especially handy in the winter when we get a lot of snow dumped on us, the roads can be scary here in West Michigan.
Top 6 family game time snack faves:
1. Cheese pizza
3. Carrot and celery sticks with dip
4. Salsa and tortilla chips
5. Pasta salad
6. Pigs in a blanket with ketchup
Before the game begins I will preheat my oven to 400F so that it's ready for our DiGiorno pizzas. I plan it out to have the pizza come out right when the game begins so that everyone can enjoy it hot. Baking DiGiorno is the easiest!
I love peeling back the vacuum seal pouch that every DiGiorno pizza comes wrapped inside of, it's so satisfying. I just place the frozen pizza in the center of my preheated oven, wait 21-25 minutes, and then pull out the bubbling golden pie. We like ours golden brown on the edges.
Cheering on our home team to victory!
DiGiorno pizzas are on Walmart RollBack for only $4.50 each and for a limited time. I can't even get half of a pizza delivered for that cheap. Walmart has Digiorno Rising Crust Four Cheese, Three Meat, Supreme, Pepperoni, or Sausage on the Roll Back price right now.
