A few weeks ago I went to my local Meijer and picked up some Doctor recommended natural probiotics from the brand Insync. I had run out of the store brand probiotic I was using plus I needed something that worked a bit better. I found Insync in a bright colorful box that stood out on the shelf. The thing about Insync that intrigued me was it's gradual release tablet that helps to keep the digestive system balance with six natural probiotics.
Last year I made a commitment to myself and my body to get my act together and get healthy. I've made some food choice changes as well as switching out soda for water. I try to get moving more and while I do not necessarily exercise I am more physically active. I lost a grand total of 60 pounds last year and I feel great! This year has a similar goal of 60. I like to keep my goals simple and healthy, at just 5 lbs per month I feel I can easily succeed. Just look at that before and after picture below!
The most important things that I have discovered along the way have been taking vitamins daily, drinking plenty of fluids, and taking a good alive probiotic to keep my body running at its best. It's so important to take care of the inside of my body in order for the outside to look and feel amazing.
Last summer I had a terrible ear infection and was prescribed strong antibiotics by an older MD. The ear infection went away but the antibiotics had done their damage. I noticed that my digestive tract stopped being regular, I felt tired and sluggish, I got a terrible yeast infection, felt sick to my stomach and had lots of diarrhea, my fingernails peeled, and I felt sick all the time. The antibiotics had killed off the bad bacteria in my ear but it had also done some damage to the delicate balance of good bacteria in my digestive tract. After dealing with this torture for a few months I finally asked a new doctor if there was something that I could do to help built up that good bacteria that I had lost. My doctor recommended that I start taking probiotics, so I did!
Probiotics changed who I am. I had known about what probiotics were but had never really stuck to a regimen of them. After about 2 weeks I noticed a big change in my body. My bowel movements were more regular, my stomach stopped hurting, I gained energy, the headaches went away, and my skin and nails improved. It's pretty amazing how one little pill every day can make a world of difference.
The store brand probiotic that I was taking before I switched to Insync was doing a fairly good job but I noticed an even bigger change when I switched to Insync. That's because Insync contains six strains of helpful natural bacteria. The six strains are bifidobacterium lactis, bifidobacterium longus, bifidobacterium bifidum, lactobacillis plantarum, and lactobacillis acidophilus. Insync probiotics have worked better for me because of their gradual release formula which helps more of those good bacteria stay alive and make it through my stomach to my intestinal tract.
So now that I am feeling more like my old self I have been able to more easily tackle my weight loss and my goal of getting healthier. Insync natural probiotics have made me so happy! I take a tablet of Insync every morning with my breakfast and now it has simply become routine, so easy. Be sure to check out my Orange Cashew Granola recipe! I just started having a 1/4 cup of it in the mornings with 1 cup of my own homemade stove top yogurt. It's a tasty way to start the day along with my Insync.
