Have you heard of Katz Gluten Free Bakery?
Katz has over 40 gluten free items for sale including their new and delicious hot dog buns (Use Coupon Code HotDog - buy 3 get the 4th free).  My personal favorite is the cinnamon rugelech, you must try this!  They remind me of a treat my great-grandma used to make when I was a little kid.  She would roll out her scraps of pie crust on a cookie sheet and sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar then bake.  They were so buttery and the sugar would caramelize, so crispy and delicious.  Oh and then of course there is the marble cake, the cupcakes, the cookies, the breads...oh my they are ALL so good!

Katz has Pie!
Honestly, who doesn't love pie?  I know my whole family goes crazy over any and all types of pie.  Personally I have found it to be very time consuming and difficult to craft the perfect gluten free pie crust.  If you have made your own gluten free pie crust you know that the dough is easily broken, can be very sticky and most of the time turns out tasting kind of bland.  I will say one thing, Katz knew what they were doing when they created this pie crust.  The Katz crust was light and flaky with lots of buttery flavor.  It held together very well and was extremely delicious.  You will have a hard time finding better quality, fresh baked gluten free goods.  School is in session.  Do you have a child who has a gluten sensitivity?  Just think of their happy little face when they open up their lunchbox to find a big slice of pie, now that is priceless.

Apple-  this needed more apples in my opinion but I loved the flavor, the filling was delicious.  Want to make this even better?  Take a piece of pie, lay a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on top then nuke in the microwave for about 10-15 seconds so the cheese melts a little bit...this is very good!  Katz has such great customer service, when I mentioned the pie issue they promised to pass along the info to their bakery.  How nice is that!
Cherry- so perfectly tart with the right amount of sweet, this made us pucker and then smile.  This could in fact be the very best cherry pie I have ever eaten!  I think next time it will be paired with some nice vanilla ice cream.
Blueberry- a ton of little blueberries are packed into this pie and the flavor is nice and sweet.  This pie is perfect all by itself but I would like to try it with some lemon sorbet since lemons and blueberries are so yummy together.

Investment?
Katz pies sell for $7.49 each which is a fair deal considering how hard it is to make a pie and how expensive gluten free ingredients can be.  You will find them in the cake section on the website.
Also Katz is now offering free shipping with any order over $30!  What a deal!

Coffee Cake Worth a Mention
I was also sent a Katz coffee cake and let me tell you...this was the most delicious coffee cake I have ever eaten!  The cake is moist and the coffee flavor is spot on.  A yummy glaze comes in a little package right in the center of the cake.  You just have to take that out, pop it into the microwave for 20 seconds or so and then drizzle this all over the cake.  The rich glaze had a coffee flavor in it which complimented the cake nicely.  I could eat a slice for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

I am actually eating a big slice of this as I am typing up this blog post but I did something extra special to this slice.  This one is also topped with extra creamy whipped cream, a quick squirt of chocolate syrup and then I tossed on some fresh raspberries.  Let me tell you, this is GOOOOOD.

I received these products as a gift to help facilitate my review.  I was not paid or compensated for this post.  All opinions are my own.
